The State of Mississippi Division of Medicaid (DOM) is introducing the Medicaid Electronic Health Records System and ePrescribe solution (MEHRS/eScript). This system is available for Medicaid providers to use at no cost.

Using MEHRS/eScript will allow you to access Mississippi Medicaid beneficiary claims and medical and pharmacy histories. Plus, you’ll be able to use a comprehensive ePrescribing system and utilize tools that can increase quality of care. MEHRS/eScript can serve as your electronic health records system — it provides pre-populated information for Medicaid beneficiaries and allows you to take advantage of ePrescribing capabilities for your entire patient population.

This site is designed to explain more about the MEHRS/eScript system that is subsidized by the Mississippi DOM at no charge to you. Plus, through this site, you can take the first steps to becoming part of the first group of Mississippi Medicaid providers to implement this system.
